Before we get to talking about specific creams for getting rid of dry skin, let’s discuss dry skin itself. Why is your skin dry? It may just be that you have naturally drier skin than other people. Or something in your day to day life could be making your skin dry. Three big causes of dry skin are sun exposure, wind exposure, and using the wrong brand of soap. If you work outside or live in a place with harsh weather, your skin takes a beating. I grew up in Pennsylvania and endured months of cold, windy winter.   Often, soaps too leave your skin dry. Many remove your skin’s natural moisturizing oils. You can switch to a gentle body wash and see if that makes a difference.   But what if your skin is “just dry”?   Well, you should look into natural topical creams for dry skin.   If you’ve never used one before, it may be a bit confusing. What do you look for on the label? Well, you want to see a number of ingredients that specifically address dry skin.   One such ingredient is called Phytessence Wakame. It’s an extract from Japanese sea algae that contains many minerals like calcium, iron, sodium, and potassium. These minerals help maintain skin’s moisture balance. Wakame also contains a range of B-complex vitamins that are known to heal irritated skin.   Another ingredient is Cynergy TK. This contains something called functional keratin, which has a makeup similar to the proteins in human skin. In an 18 day clinical study, application of Cynergy TK to the skin resulted in a 14 percent increase in skin moisture.   Besides these two ingredients, creams should include plant-based oils. A few of the best are grape seed, jojoba, and olive oils. Grape seed oil is particularly effective in rejuvenating the delicate skin under the eyes.   When you’re browsing natural topical creams for dry skin, remember the ingredients discussed in this article. I’ve picked out only the best. If you generally have dry skin or just a few trouble spots like elbows and heels, an excellent skin care product can do wonders.   Hopefully this article points you in the right direction. Face epitomizes the utopia of eternal beauty of women and they always take extra care of it. Women are very conscious of their looks and face makeup products are proven to be their best weapons to get a radiant look. Since time immemorial, women vouch for these face makeup products and you will hardly find a woman without face makeup accessories in her purse. How many times have you felt envy of the perfect radiant skin of the model appearing on television screen? Well, the actual fact is no one has flawless skin; it is only impeccable face makeup products application which helps in giving the lustrous look. This new age face makeup products have helped women of all ages soften their skin through hydration, minimize wrinkles and fine lines and ward off the aging effects of time, stress and adverse climate. Concealer, foundation and face powder are considered as the three key elements of face makeup products. If your skin has any blemishes, a foundation can give you the coverage of a perfect, even complexion look. However, if you do not prefer applying foundation all over, then applying face powders and other products selectively in areas of uneven skin tone, usually along the nose and cheeks will solve the problem. Concealers are a must to cover under-eye dark-circles, wrinkles and fine lines shown in face. The above three combine to form as a canvas for the rest of makeup. However the most important thing to consider is, always look for face makeup products based on your skin type only so that the makeup blends well with your skin type and not looks like overdone. These makeup products are available for different skin types namely normal, oily, dry or a combination skin. Face makeup products are also available for sensitive or aging skin. Cleansers, blushers, eye shadows, eye liner, mascara, lip gloss, lipstick, lip liner, lip contour, lipstick fixer and loose power are other components of any face makeup kit. However a perfect make up kit is not complete without mentioning about some of the essential tools such as brush, puffs, sponges, empty and full palettes which help in applying the make up. Face make up can be different depending upon the time of the day, occasion and also the climate. You should not expect yourself to come to office with heavy makeup and be the topic of office canteen gossip. For a more natural makeup, consider avoiding foundation and use concealer in its place to hide small imperfections, and add blush or bronzer to brighten up the entire face. Similarly an evening out with friends or your date requires extra edge in make up. What is more, you can even go for Creamy Make-up, Grease Make-up, Liquid Make-up and Wet Make-up. Now even advance make up products are available in markets where the benefits of a liquid and powder makeup comes in one form which after applying gives an Ultimate, soft and natural finish. This new age face makeup products have helped women of all ages soften their skin through hydration, minimize wrinkles and fine lines and ward off the aging effects of time, stress and adverse climate. Always go for branded face makeup products for they ensure safety to skin. Another important thing is these face makeup products do have expiry dates, so look out for that aspect while buying. Removing the makeup is equally important for a blemish-free and healthy skin. Never go to sleep without removing your face make up. Always use good quality of makeup removers as per your skin type. For example if you have an oily skin, toners and astringent containing alcohol work best on your skin type while they are a strict no for dry skin. You can use cleanser to remove eye makeup. After toning and cleansing, do not forget to apply moisturizer before going to bed. However if the skin type is oily, avoid using moisturizer as they will make the skin more oily.

If you have a dry skin and not too keen on having it look like a withered apple, then your only way out is to jump headlong into a dry skin care regimen. The dry skin is basically a dehydrated skin, very sensitive to the weather elements. So the dry skin care regimen is all about nourishing the skin and keeping it protected from external ravages.
Dry skin care involves getting to the roots of the problem. Apart from the intrinsically dry skin type, dryness can also be the result of taking drugs like diuretics, antispasmodics, and antihistamines. Dry skin can also result from medical conditions like hypothyroidism, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, seborrhea and diabetes. Excessive exposure to harsh weather elements like snow, sun and winds and the use of chemicals on the skin, Vitamin A and B deficiencies can lead to conditions of dryness too.
The essentially dry skin has a dull look about it especially around the mouth and the eyes and it feels taut and uncomfortable right after washing. Chapping and cracking are its severest symptoms.
Dry skin care primarily involves nourishing it with baby oil, gentle moisturizing creams and preferably, a non-detergent based, neutral-pH product to clean it. Dry skin needs an out-and-out cleaning but not with a commercial soap. After washing, always use a moisturizer to keep the skin looking and feeling soft and supple. It’s good if you apply the moisturizer over a damp skin.
You can also use oil for hydrating your dry skin, however while massaging, take care not to stretch your skin. Apply oil profusely around the eyes, because this is the area most prone to wrinkles and crow’s feet.
Dry skin care demands the application of only very gentle and preferably natural beauty care products. Thus when you retire for the night, massage yourself with a homemade nourishing cream. Or you can use a natural beauty mask consisting egg, honey, olive oil and rose water to provide your skin with all the nourishments.
A warm milk bath with a few drops of almond oil added to it will soften and hydrate your skin like nothing else. Dry, cracked lips respond well to a little milk cream mixed with rose water and lime juice, while style divas swear by the raw-beetroot-application-before-the-lipstick routine. Just a dab of Vaseline afterwards ensures that your lips remain pink and pretty.
Dry skin care also involves knowing what to stay away from. Overheated rooms, beauty care treatments that use steam and sudden changes of temperatures wreck havoc on a dry skin. While stepping out in the cold, liberally douse yourself with some kind of moisturizer, and pile on the sunscreen when you go out in the sun.
Your diet too plays an important role in containing the reverses of a dry skin. While smoking and fatty, oily foods are a definite no-no, fresh fruits and vegetables, along with copious quantities of water daily, improve the quality of your skin and they have also been proven to contain anti-ageing properties. Thus with such foods in your diet, you not only remain healthy, but look also good.
There are many herbs that can be directly applied to the skin or consumed to help your condition of dryness. Thus chamomile, lavender, calendula, comfrey, tea tree oil, aloe vera and peppermint used in herbal facials are good for dry skin and borage, fennel, coltsfoot or calendula tea can be had daily for a youthful looking skin.
Dry skin care actually means pampering your skin, for you have to always keep in mind that you are dealing with something very fragile.

Dry-cleaning is a process of cleaning cloths without making use of water. This process does not involve even the slightest bit of water; however, it uses other chemicals to clean cloths. Some delicate clothes can get ruined if they are cleaned by water; they need to undergo dry cleaning to maintain their luster and feel. Dry cleaning process involves use of a special solvent fluid in which all garments are immersed and cleaned. Previously dry cleaners used variety of solvents to get dry cleaned cloths but perchloroethlene became an industry standard chemical for dry-cleaning. In some countries white petrol is used for dry cleaning, it is commonly known as MTO. Many dry clean service providers strive to give dry cleaning industry a new a face that will enable the usage of new dry cleaning technologies and international solvents.

In early times dry cleaning process involved usage of kerosene or gasoline, as the time changes people started to use perchloroethlene that is commonly known as perc for dry cleaning. Almost all the dry cleaning firms to clean cloths use this liquid, the good thing about this liquid solvent is, and it can be reused.

There are many advantages of dry cleaning such as it will remove oil spots that can not be removed in washing, lessens, shrinking and stretching. It also helps to preserve the original texture of garments.

The dry-cleaning process contain several steps for instance it mark and inspect the cloths after it mends the cloths after it pre-treat the stains on the cloths after it goes in sorting and dry-cleaning process. Once dry cleaning process is over it goes for post spotting, finishing and packing. Once your garments have passed all above stages, you will get good new looking garments.

You have to get familiar with some guidelines that will give you a brief idea about the working of dry cleaning shops such as in dry cleaning, hands usually treat stained spots and then they are placed in large machines. Sometimes a small amount of water is added to the machine that will agitate the cloths; this is similar to the other washing machines. Here liquid solvents and detergents are used with water. Once the clothes are cleaned then they are dried, pressed and packed off to the customers. Once dry cleaning is complete, solvent can be separated from waste residues for instance detergents, dye, dirt and oil, so it can be reused. Usually filters are used to remove the solvent and solvent residues and are disposed as waste. Many people oppose this process of dry cleaning because it involves toxic chemicals that are harmful for health and environment.

The solvent used for dry cleaning can be recovered from extractor that can evaporate into air and cause air pollution. There is a lot of controversy over the usage of perchloroethlene because it can cause serious health problems. So there are lot of Dry cleaners are using carbon -dioxide for dry cleaning.

Dry cleaning providers promise valued service to their customers. This is done by giving high quality dry cleaning services. The dry cleaning service providers use special chemicals that do not give off foul smells and are gentle on your clothes. Some dry clean service providers use environment friendly products and trained professionals to give you an excellent dry cleaning service.

If you want to find the best creams for getting rid of dry skin, first you need to know the cause of your condition. Dry skin isn’t an unusual condition, most of us suffer from it on at least part of our bodies at some time. Symptoms can range from flaky, itchy skin to red rashes or chaffing so severe as to cause bleeding.

Soaps, lotions, and body sprays are among the products that can cause your skin to dry out and itch. A lot of these products contain alcohol and fragrances that can drain moisture from your skin. Xerosis, otherwise known as dry skin, is an annoying problem that can be exacerbated by these types of products.

If you have sensitive skin then the problem may be even more difficult to control. Natural topical creams for dry skin don’t contain the alcohols and fragrances that irritate your skin and cause it further dryness.

The good news about treating dry skin is that this is a condition that occurs on the surface of the skin and can be effectively treated on the surface. Creams for getting rid of dry skin have the ingredients to get right to the problem and start giving you relief right away.

When you put on your creams for getting rid of dry skin is just as important as the cream itself. If you apply the cream after a shower when your skin is still damp, the moisture is trapped on your skin. Give the creams time to soak in before patting skin dry gently with a towel.

Medications your take can also increase skin’s dryness. If you notice a big difference at the time you start taking a new medication, then that may be the culprit.

You may notice that your skin gets a lot drier in the winter months than at any other time. This is usually due to the dry air from heating during cold weather. That same dryness is what causes static electricity that you notice with your winter clothes. It pulls the moisture right out of your skin.

Under normal conditions, our skin produces enough oils to naturally keep it moist. Exposing yourself to long hot showers and baths, especially during winter, washes away the body’s natural oils and leaves dry, itchy skin behind. Nothing helps get rid of this type of dry skin more effectively than creams that are designed specifically to add moisture to chronic dry skin.

If not treated, these and other irritants can cause your dry skin to turn into more serious conditions such as dermatitis. Or you may have skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. In addition to the medication to treat these conditions, applying natural topical creams for dry skin to increase moisture will help. Just make sure to ask your physician before using with your medicated creams.

If your dry skin doesn’t go away or worsens, check with a physician. There are health problems such as diabetes and hormone imbalances that can cause dry skin. Otherwise, by being careful about using products with harsh ingredients, and applying the right cream for your skin type, you should be able to get your dry skin under control.
