I’m currently using a treatment for acne and it’s working very well, but it’s also drying out my skin. I’m wary about using just any moisturizer, as i’m afraid it will interfere with the acne treatment and make my skin break out. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what i can do about the dry skin?

Do you have dry, white and flaky skin in your elbows, knees, back, arms, legs or your face? Then you must immediately do something about it before it turns out to be an repulsive part of your most-cared for outward appearance?
If you have this, you must already look for, choose and buy your self the best dry skin care products that would work well for your skin type. You must allow your self to treat and pamper your skin with the most utmost care.
Before you buy your best dry skin care products, you must first keep these simple tips in mind:
Ask and consult your dermatologist about whats good for your dry skin. Or if you dont go to a regular skin doctor, then you could do well with a lot of self-researching from some of their own and recommended best dry skin care products used by friends, classmates, officemates and people you know who also have the problem of dry skin.
Make a habit of using dry skin moisturizer. It doesnt need to be so expensive and costly for you. There are a lot of available dry skin care products in the market today which are more effective and works well as much as those high-priced skin care and beauty products. For a cheaper version of dry skin moisturizer, creams and lotions, try the common petroleum jelly, which do wonders for your dry skin.
After taking a bath, apply some moisturizers on areas where there is dryness and massive flaking. Apply it while your skin is still damp with a little moisture from the water. Remember to avoid using hot water because it aggravates the condition of dryness and it actually removes the natural moisture of your skin.
An overnight whole body spa could also help your skin to regain its natural moisture. Try soaking your self in not so hot water, just the right temperature to keep you comfortable. Apply some bath oils, thick heavy creams or lotions while you are in the tub. Gently massage it to your skin like you are in a spa session.
It is also important to have natural and healthy routines and habits which will naturally improve the appearance and condition of your skin. Drink lots of water, it is basically what you are lacking when you have very dry skin. Sleep a lot and eat a lot of vegetables. You could also take vitamin supplements such as vitamins A, B complex, C and E, which are good skin vitamins.
It is always important to present your self in a pleasing and satisfactory manner and one way to actually look good from the eyes of others is to have clear, beautiful, glowing and healthy-looking skin. If you have well-cared for, nurtured and healthy skin, most people would actually judge you immediately as a well-mannered person because of the way you look. If you look good, every one would like you. Well, who doesn’t want an attractive and beautiful person talking in front of them?

When was the last time you bought what you thought was going to be the best moisturizer for dry skin, only to be disappointed because it didn’t achieve the results you were expecting!Natural face moisturizers firstly need emollients to supply – 1. Occlusion (provide a layer of oil to slow water loss) – 2. Humectant (increase water holding capacity) – 3. Lubrication (slip across the skin) to the stratum corneum, the horny layer. . . the outermost layer of the epidermis. The second substances needed are antioxidants. Anti-oxidants fight free radicals caused by oxidation – a chemical reaction. This creates oxidative stress that starts a chain reaction to damages skin cells. The final substances are natural oils. Your skin needs to be hydrated and moisturized. Natural oils accomplish this by providing a seal over your skin to help prevent evaporation of water from the surface of your skin. Some good emollients, antioxidants and natural oil ingredients to look for are:D-Panthenol – is an emollient, humectant and moisturizer.   Panthenol a pro-vitamin rich in vitamin B5. Cegesoft PFO – an emollient a natural passionflower extract. . . to help soften the skin. Crodamol CP – A nourishing plant based emollient, derived from palm oil lipid, an ultra mild skin smoothing ester. Macadamia oil – It has a naturally high (40%) concentration of palmitoleic acid; it penetrates and hydrates the skin quickly. It is one of the most effective anti-oxidants. It is particularly suitable for all skin types and is excellent for dry irritated skin. CoenzymeQ10 in its special nano-emulsion form Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10. CoQ10 is a natural nutrient and powerful antioxidant. It penetrates deep into the skin, to rejuvenate and enhance cell activity and hydrate dry sensitive skin. Jojoba oil – It contains natural tocopheroids (antioxidants found in vitamin E that disarm free radicals) to minimize oxidation. Shea butter is extracted from the natural oil rich seed of the Shea tree indigenous to Africa. Grapeseed oil – it is astringent, to help tighten and tone the skin. It has regenerative and restructuring virtues and has great skin moisturizing properties. Avocado oil – is deeply hydrating and highly compatible with your skin’s own oils. It is also a powerful anti-oxidant and is brimming with high levels of chlorophyll, vitamin E and omegas 3 and 9 to improve the health and vitality of your skin. Glycerin – is a non-toxic and non-irritating plant based humectant. It comes from natural plant oil and is not petroleum-based. Glycerin shores up the skin’s natural protection by filling the area known as the intercellular matrix and by attracting the right amount of water to maintain the skin’s homeostasis. Finally, the best moisturizer for dry skin should include some if not all of the above hydrating and moisturizing ingredients. At my website, I discuss more issues relating to face moisturizers, and other great new cutting edge ingredients that can even help stimulate your own collagen and elastin re-growth.

If you suffer from dry sensitive skin then listen up. This may be the most important article you have ever read if you want to learn how to cope with this condition. When most people think of dry sensitive skin they think of the cold harsh winter. The winds and cold help aggravate the condition. However, this is a problem for many women and men who spend allot of time out in the sun too. All those UV raises are often worse then the cold. In this article were going to look at a few things you should know to help keep that dry sensitive skin of yours in top condition. Wash Your Face With Water OnlyThe problem with most soaps and cleansers is that they often dry the skin out even more. Even some of the products that are made for dry skin can do more harm then good. Your best bet is to simply rinse your face off with cold water. Yes, cold water is better then hot water. Use A Natural MoisturizerKeeping your face moist is difficult when it is dry and sensitive. Many of the products on the market will only worsen your condition. You can replace many of the off the shelf products with a good natural moisturizer that can be found in your grocery store. I recommend that you give honey or aloe gel a try. Sunless TanningTanning is very popular but not always good for the skin. In fact tanning will often dry out the skin and aggravate. If you want a great tan then I recommend that you go with a good sunless tanning product. The trick is to find one that can moisturize your skin and tan it at the same time. There are many on the market that can do this. Avoid PerfumeIt’s only normal for a woman to want to smell good. Unfortunately many perfumes contain chemicals that will trigger allergies in people who have dry sensitive skin. There is some good news to this. There are ways that you can make your own perfume at home without all those chemicals. I recommend you look into it. Drink Lots Of WaterSome people who have dry sensitive skin drink many products that contain lots of sugar. This should mostly be avoided and replaced with water. At the very least you should try drinking green tea and even ice tea. Both of these contain water and have more flavor to them.
